The Oregon Clean Power Co-op will install a 110 kW solar system at Benton County’s building at 4500 SW Research Way, in Corvallis. The County purchased the building in 2020, and aims to move it as close as possible to net-zero energy.
The project is fully funded, with financing from investment by community members, the Energy Trust of Oregon, tax credits taken by a third-party investor, and the County itself.
Construction on the project is expected to take place in September / October 2020.
