108 kW

This project has been DELAYED by at least several months, while Pacific Power studies issues with connecting solar projects on the OSU campus to the electric grid. We will be opening the Richardson Hall project for investment instead.

Oregon State University’s Milam Hall was originally built in 1913 to house the School of Domestic Science –  later known as the School of Home Economics – and occupies a prominent location on OSU’s campus, across the Quad from the Memorial Union. A seismic upgrade to this historic building is allowing us to put 108 kW of solar panels on the roof. The project is a joint effort of OSU, the Oregon Clean Power Co-op, and the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition.
